πŸ” What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be working directly with small business clients across Canada, keeping their books squeaky clean using slick cloud tools like QuickBooks Online and Hubdoc. You’ll be:

  • Posting expenses & bills (you and Hubdoc = dream team)
  • Reconciling bank & credit card accounts like a financial detective
  • Politely nudging clients for missing info (we promise, they’re nice)
  • GST/PST/WorkSafeBC remittances β€” the usual suspects
  • Payroll, ROEs, T4s, T5s β€” if it’s got a letter-number combo, you’re on it
  • Preparing personal & corporate taxes (T1s & T2s)
  • Making things more efficient, automated, and less annoying for everyone

βœ… You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (non-negotiable, sorry!)
  • Have 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Have 2+ years of QuickBooks Online experience and actually enjoy it
  • Can type faster than most people text (60+ WPM)
  • Know your way around a Zoom call and a browser tab jungle
  • Believe accounting doesn’t have to be stiff or boring (amen)
  • Constantly find yourself thinking: β€œThere’s got to be a better way to do this”

CPA designation? Great. Not there yet? We’re cool with that β€” we care more about how you think, work, and communicate than just your credentials.

  • Pay: $25–$35/hr (Depending on Experience)
