We’re Hiring: Bookkeeper

BOOKKEEPER

DEXIMAL ACCOUNTING INC. is a tech-savvy and quickly growing online accounting services company. We provide paperless bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, and other accounting services. We are looking for a fantastic person to join our current team of 3 as a full-time Bookkeeper in our office in Duncan, BC.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A 2 year Accounting Diploma or a relevant combination of education and work experience
  • 3+ years of full-cycle Bookkeeping work experience
  • Excellent communication skills in emails and on the phone
  • Moderate to High technology skills – comfortable using mobile apps, online software, and video conferencing
  • Typing speed 60 wpm or higher – A positive and interesting personality – no stereotypical “boring” accountants here!

We are not a traditional accounting firm! This is a fun environment where we are passionate about helping business owners bring their accounting into the amazing new world of business apps. We absolutely love accounting and find joy and a sense of satisfaction from simplifying and de-mystifying accounting processes and information. We are hard-core into efficient and repeatable systems and making processes and organization easy for our clients. Responsibilities of the position:

  • Post supplier bills and expense receipts from electronic records in Hubdoc
  • Review QuickBooks Online banking feeds and match transactions to bank payments and deposits
  • Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Communicate with clients about missing info or questions – GST/PST/WCB Remittances
  • Process Payroll, Source Deductions Remittances, & ROEs

Wage DOE, 37.5 hour work week.
